I’ve set a goal for myself to run a half marathon before year-end. To meet this goal, I’ve signed up for the West Coast Half Marathon that’s going to happen in Sarasota next month, on December 9th. I’ve been training for several months, as this is my first half marathon in three years. Each week until the race, I’ll share my training objectives, as well as the results from the previous week. I’d also like to invite you to come run with me.
2 weeks Until the big race!
As you can see, I’m still struggling to stick to my plan during the week days, and all of the activity related to Thanksgiving didn’t help any this past week. But I’ll get a long run in today, and try to get a couple shorter one’s in during the week.
WEEK 23 RESULTS
Sun: 11 mile run- COMPLETE. I’m doing great at getting my long runs in, and can do the distance no problem.
Tue: 5k run- MISSED.
Wed: 3 mile run or cross-training- MISSED.
Thu: 5k run- COMPLETE. I got out early on Thanksgiving for a good 5k run.
Sat: 60 minutes of cross training- MISSED.
