I’ve set a goal for myself to run a half marathon before year-end. To meet this goal, I’ve signed up for the West Coast Half Marathon that’s going to happen in Sarasota next month. I’ve been training for several months, as this is my first half marathon in three years. Each week until the race, I’ll share my training objectives, as well as the results from the previous week. I’d also like to invite you to come run with me.
28 Days to go! I’m doing great at getting my long runs in on Sunday, but not so good on my schedule the rest of the week. I’m traveling for work this week, which could make it even tougher. But I’m going to still try to get my runs in.
WEEK 21 RESULTS
Sun: 11 mile run- COMPLETE.
Tue: 5k run- COMPLETE.
Wed: 3 mile run or cross-training- MISSED.
Thu: 5k run- MISSED.
Sat: 60 minutes of cross training- Kind of Missed. I did help my husband a little with some rehab work on our house. Not my ideal type of a crossfit workout, but it was a workout.
