I’ve set a goal for myself to run a half marathon before year-end. To meet this goal, I’ve signed up for the West Coast Half Marathon that’s going to happen in Sarasota in December, and I’ve started training. Each week, I’ll share my training objectives, as well as the results from the previous week. I’d also like to invite you to come run with me.

The half marathon I’m running is less than two months away now. If you’d like to come run it with me, but haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time.
This was another typical crazy week for me as I managed to catch whatever my husband had the previous week. I got my long run in Sunday, then pretty much fell apart for a couple days.
WEEK 18 RESULTS
Sun: 8 mile run- COMPLETE. I was kind of slow, figured out why by the next day.
Tue: 5 mile run- MISSED. Cold in full effect.
Wed: 3 mile run or cross-training- MISSED. Back to work, but not 100%.
Thu: 5 mile run- COMPLETE. This was a pretty decent run actually with a pace in the mid-12’s. Not blazing, but good for my first run after a cold.
Sat: 60 minutes of cross training- MISSED.
