Credit, Finance, Income

Annual Credit Report– The official site that allows you to check your credit report on all three bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) once per year for FREE.  Review your reports and make sure everything is correct and up to date.

You should check your credit reports annually to make sure there are no errors, or fraudulent activity.  If you find anything, you can open disputes directly with the bureaus to get them cleaned up.  I’m a firm believer that it’s much easier parenting with good credit than bad.

Tampa Lotto Club

First, a disclaimer.  If you are tight on money, or having trouble paying your other bills, you should not waste money on the lottery. The odds of winning are so low, it’s like flushing money down the toilet. You’re better off paying down credit card debt or putting money into your retirement account.

Having said that, if you have some extra leisure money and view lottery as a form of entertainment, here is a unique offering for you. This is a club that allows you to pool your money with other players to increase your chances of winning.  By pooling with other players, you share in their winnings, and they share in yours. The club specifically plays high dollar scratch-offs from the Floriday lottery, which have slightly better odds than the more well-known Powerball and Mega Millions games.  I know the guys who run the Tampa Lotto Club, and it can be a lot of fun to participate.
